Metrixware Enters a New Strategic Phase with ACEBLUE as Majority Shareholder

Metrixware, an independent software vendor specializing in the modernization of IBM i / AS/400 information systems, today announces a major milestone in its development: Aceblue has become the company’s majority shareholder as of January 2022, following a long-term investment initiative that began in 2011. This step strengthens Metrixware’s ability to accelerate its growth and innovation strategy on an international scale.

Since its transformation into a software publisher in 2011—supported by key structuring investments—Metrixware has established itself as a recognized player in application modernization, notably through its Delphi/400 for IBM i solution, now used by more than 1,000 customers worldwide

With this new governance structure, Metrixware intends to further strengthen its strategic priorities, including:

• Accelerated modernization of its product portfolio, particularly around IBM i and mainframe environments, with a strong focus on agile transformation of legacy systems.
• Increased R&D investments, aimed at deeper integration of modern development technologies, application integration tools, and low-code approaches.
• International commercial expansion, supported by strategic partnerships and key technology alliances.
